Are you looking for an interesting role in Compliance? Maybe something a little different? Being the Compliance Officer at the Saffron Building Society is that role.

Working directly for the Head of Compliance your responsibility is to drive and embed compliance, regulatory advice and support for all operational areas of the Society.

You will be supporting the Head of Compliance in strengthening the second line Compliance in accordance with the firms regulatory and conduct risk appetite.


The day to day role:


  • Executing the monitoring and assurance plan, inputting into the REWS Process, supporting in the development of the Compliance infrastructure.
  • Support the Head of Compliance as appropriate /required in developing and enhancing the second line compliance programme.
  • Support the delivery of a Compliance advisory agenda for the Society and act as a centre point or advisory related queries.
  • Provide challenge and advise to drive forward and further embed the conduct risk framework

To be successful:


  • You will come from a regulated residential mortgage background, managing an assurance program as well as monitoring and testing experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills and proven experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholders
