Description

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified clinical psychologist (registered with the HCPC) to join the Renal and GI teams within the department of Clinical Health Psychology Department at Salford Royal Hospital.

The post will be split 0.6 with renal and 0.25 GI (total of 32 hours per week).

The post holder will provide psychological input to patients suffering from end stage renal failure including patients who are on dialysis as well as patients with a kidney transplant.

An understanding of medical compliance issues and psychological adjustment to invasive medical procedures would be helpful.
