Digital Press Field Service Engineer

Location:
Leicester & Southampton - must live within a 20 mile radius

Salary:
Up to £37k, plus OT and Benefits

Overview -Digital Press Field Service Engineer

You will be expected to install, configure, maintain, and repair printing press systems as well as demonstrate a proactive approach and contribute to maintenance related activities.

Working on complex systems requiring quick learning and understanding; aswell as the ability to rapidly identify the nature of complex issues and to provide optimal solutions.

Tools, equipment, company phone and car are all supplied

Responsibilities -Digital Press Field Service Engineer

Follow up on remote diagnosis, resolving the problem as quickly as possible to enable the customer to remain operational at all times
To install, configure, maintain, and repair printing press systems
Working on complex systems you will require quick learning and understanding with the ability to rapidly identify the nature of complex issues and to provide suitable solutions
Be responsible for ensuring safe working practices under the Health & Safety Acts.

Knowledge, skills and experience -Digital Press Field Service Engineer

A professional with a technical background covering both mechanics and electronics
Previous field experience with support of high end or complex electromechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills down to electronics component level
Knowledge of electronic/electrical components including 3 phase mains power.
Ability to read circuit diagrams
Valid driving licence
3 GCSE's or equivalent, to include Math's and English desirable

Ideal academic level preferred:
City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC / HND in Engineering
