As Banqueting and Conference Team Leader you will work closely with the rest of our teams ensuring effortless and seamless service to clients and guests alike.

You will be responsible for training and coaching the team in order to deliver the level of service expected of this luxury hotel.

The main banqueting suite is the heart of the hotel, and you and your team will help to create a style of theatre, with the most up-to-date drinks and food available and dispensing methods used.

You will use your experience in the luxury food market & beverage knowledge to be able to lead from the front, confidently talking to guests & upselling

Someone with impressive stamina and engaging social skills who stays cool under pressure.

You'll need to thrive on managing a hardworking team and be able to inspire them to deliver memorable events for all types of client.

In a nutshell, you need to be a strong leader who can pull a party out of a paper bag.

As Team leader you will have a good understanding or food, wines, spirits and cocktails, and ideally have a CV to match.

Leadership skills to motivate and manage your team
The confidence to liaise with other heads of department and deliver what the client wants
Good communication skills to find out exactly what your clients want
Personal charm to greet organisers, hosts and VIPs and to show clients you are giving them full attention
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
A cool head to deal with last minute requests and problems
A cando attitude, because you may need to hire audio visual, lighting, a DJ, a band, stages, and marquees
