Working as part of a team the successful applicant will report to The Administration Manager and be responsible for ensuring that the catering service within the home is properly maintained to a high standard including attention to matters of health & safety and hygiene regulations.


As the Catering Supervisor, key responsibilities are:

  • Line management and leadership of catering staff
  • Oversee the quality of catering function
  • Liaise with Care staff to explore opportunities for involving residents in catering activities
  • Lead and manage staff, food ordering, delivery and storage, food preparation and serving, presentation and cleaning, general duties, including reporting and auditing.


To be successful you will need good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with older people, some of whom are living with Dementia.

Ability to work comfortably in a Christian environment, operate within professional boundaries and within Older People Services Values are necessary prerequisites for the post.
