Class People are currently working with a Primary school near Abingdon to recruit a part-time Year 5 teacher starting in January 2023 and ending in July 2023.

This is a part-time contract for 2 days a week. The role will include planning responsibilities aswell as communication with parents and guardians.


To be a successful in this role you will need the below:

  • Qualified Primary Teacher with KS2 experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide an outstanding classroom experience
  • The ability to take the initiative, adapting teaching to suit the needs of the students on the day, displaying a clear understanding of the different ways children learn
  • Profound enthusiasm and creativity when engaging with students of all primary ages and abilities.
  • A kind and supportive approach to behaviour management
  • A history of working collaboratively with other staff, to teach to a consistently high standard
  • Experience of working in a team for the benefit of students
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures.
