Power Line Surveyor

SPEN Region (Mid & North Wales, Cheshire and Merseyside)

PBS Utility Services Ltd are a dynamic organisation with over 10 years' experience of providing vital support services within the utilities industry.

We have a particular focus on surveying and inspecting the assets and networks of large utility clients, and we are currently recruiting motivated and ambitious individuals to join our team as we expand to meet client demands.

Main Responsibilities:


  • To carry out conditionbased assessments on HV and LV overhead power lines and record information
  • To propose any work required to resolve nonconformity
  • To deliver work on a regular basis and in an agreed format

Other Responsibilities:


  • To carry out risk assessments and vehicle inspections
  • To follow all company policies linked to this role
  • To undertake any training that would be required for the role

Other Information:


  • Remuneration
  • Salary plus attractive bonus system.
  • Hours of work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday unless agreed otherwise
  • Holidays 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Vehicle and Fuel card provided.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:


  • Must be comfortable working alone
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
  • Must hold a full driving licence
  • IT knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Must be comfortable using remote hand held devices (Tablet Tool)

Preferred Criteria:


  • Experience maintaining or surveying power lines.
  • SPEN Authorisation WI1-Wi2 minimum
  • Electrical qualifications or experience.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
