Overview of Responsibilities:


Who are we looking for?


We have an excellent opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our organisation where you will spend 80% of your time developing both your general work-related skills and 20% on obtaining professional qualifications.

Full training will be provided throughout your apprenticeship, and UKAEA has a dedicated Early Careers Team to support your journey and a nurturing community that learns from each other.


Within the 20% training and development, you will be required to enroll with a training provider to complete a suite of activities designed to develop your professional qualifications.

This may be completed on day release or block release dependent on the apprenticeship standard you are completing.

You will be naturally curious and will enjoy probing and asking questions to steer you through your development. Having a great attitude to personal development, your enthusiasm will drive your learning in this exciting environment.

This together with your excellent communication skills, ability to manage your time and priorities as well as working well in a team will bring you success.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of GCSE Mathematics and English Language passes to Grade C (level 49)
  • Plus, three other GCSE passes to Grade C (level 49)
  • Excellent spoken and written communications skills
  • Demonstrate an interest and aptitude for chosen area of work
