Description

Highland House provides support for 27 elderly members of our Community in a family environment.

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated catering team.

You will be passionate about food and motivated to work as part of a busy kitchen, helping to prepare, cook and serve meals for those in our care, as well as their families and other visitors.

What does the role involve?
Working within a supportive team, you will be involved with:

Ensuring that all dishes are presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen according to Health and Safety and Environmental Health requirements.
Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to Health & Safety and Welfare policies and procedures.
Ensuring that all cleaning materials are handled according to COSHH requirements.

What are the hours?
Fixed Shifts are between 3pm-8pm. This shift can be stacked with our Chef's position, which is open from 8am-2pm.
