About the Team Leader (Adult Social Care) role:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Team Leader for our Supported Living Service in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Someone who will go above and beyond to make life amazing for our service users and our enthusiastic and professional support workers.

Our Charity supports 16 adults with Learning Disabilities/Autism to lead fulfilling and independent lives whilst being active members of the community.


Responsibilities as our Team Leader (Adult Social Care):

  • managing and creating the monthly rotas
  • updating and managing digital care plans and risk assessments
  • supporting and supervising assistants (including inducting new team members)
  • overseeing reporting such as medication records
  • health and safety, and quality assurance checks
  • implementing the planning and undertaking of meaningful activity
  • taking part in support reviews, ensuring training is relevant and up-to-date
  • working as part of the senior team to maintain a high quality of care.

You will work with our Registered Care Manager to ensure:

  • we continue to provide high quality, person-centred care and support; supporting practical, social and spiritual needs of our people
  • leading the service delivery is in line with L'Arche's values and standards, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].
