Role and Responsibilities:

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students succeed academically and personally


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and preparing classroom materials.
  • Providing individual or small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Supervising students during class activities and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Offering guidance and support to students with special educational needs.
  • Contributing to the development of educational resources and activities.
  • Helping to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.

Requirements:


  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Adaptability and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development is a plus.
