APEM specialises in aquatic ecological and hydro morphological survey work throughout the UK with sampling and monitoring of lakes, ponds, canals, rivers, estuary, coastal and marine environments.


As the Warehouse Supervisor, some of your duties will include undertaking routine checks of vehicles, boats and survey equipment, to act as Fire Marshall for the warehouse and maintain vehicles including outboard engines, generators and electric fishing equipment.


About the role


The purpose of this role is to manage the storage, maintenance, and servicing of all equipment within the storage facility as well as reporting any issues through the established escalation route.


The post holder will also be responsible for investigating and arranging repair of any damaged equipment, overseeing the management of the day-to-day storage facility and liaising with facilities manager to organise contractor access for scheduled/routine maintenance.

This role is being advertised on a full time and part time basis.


About you


A practical person with experience in relevant work and good general DIY skills, this may include electrical, plumbing or engineering.

You will have some IT knowledge as you will need to keep service logs up to date.


Driving experience including vans and towing trailers is necessary for this role, and you may also be asked to visit our sites if equipment needs repairing.
