    Are you an experienced General Practice Nurse seeking your next challenge?


We are seeking a
Senior Lecturer in General Practice Nursing, who will play a key role in teaching and developing the next generation of General Practice Nurses.

You will be a registered nurse with practical experience of working in a General Practice setting. Drawing on this experience, you will inspire and enthuse students, working creatively to ensure the best possible student experience.

Working as part of a team, you will deliver high quality academic provision to support the implementation of teaching and learning, widening participation and other strategies.


You will be based within the Practice Development team and will primarily support delivery of the NHS England (formerly HEE) funded and Chief Nursing Officer approved module
"Discovering a Nursing Career within General Practice". You will also support with other continuing professional development content from within our Practice Development Framework.


Working in partnership with local and national NHS organisations, health and social care providers, service users and carers, the Institute of Health provides education for a broad range of pre-registration and post registration health care professionals.
