Our production facility and head office is located just outside Glasgow and from here we support a wide variety of customers including many Blue Chip end-users, Main Contractors, Developers and specialist door companies.

We are now seeking to recruit a Service Engineering Apprentice in the Wiltshire area.

Key activities are driving in company van to complete the routine maintenance, fault finding and repair, commissioning and de
- commissioning of powered pedestrian doorsets along with an experienced engineer during your initial training.


After training a service enginner will be able to work on a range of powered doors such as sliding, swing, folding, balanced and revolving.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?


After 24 months of on the job training and attending college the apprentice will gain an NVQ Level 2 in Powered Pedestrian Doors.

In addition to this the apprentice will gain their CSCS and EN16005 qualification.

The training is completed in one week blocks every 6 weeks at Staffordshire College. Full travel and accomodation costs are covered for the training at college.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression to a qualified Service engineer.


What equipment/tools are provided:


  • A company vehicle (business use only) when your expereince is deemed to allow travel to site without another engineer.
  • All power tools and access equipment required to undertake tasks
  • Company mobile telephone / tablet
  • Uniform & PPE

Essential Criteria

  • A full clean driving licence.
  • A disclosure check will be undertaken.

Additional Information

  • Hours: 40 hours per week plus overtime and on call rota.
  • Holidays: 33 days holidays
