St Helens office base, hybrid working _(3 days in the office / 2 days home based)_
The role
This role will play a crucial part in managing and administrating the organisation's DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System), ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and establishing commercially focused relationships with suppliers and subcontractors across all workstreams.
The right fit
- Experience of using eprocurement systems such as Proactis
- Understanding and knowledge of administrating a DPS/tenders
- Understanding of various contract types and construction specific procurement requirements such as NET carbon and social value
- Ability to communicate at all levels including external partners, M&Y managers and operatives.
- A proactive selfstarter, who enjoys having ownership of their role and can manage their own time and prioritise workload.
- Sound knowledge of public procurement policy procedures and legislation
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one given time
- The post holder may on occasion be required to travel to other offices and, therefore, the ability to travel to other offices and locations which may not be easily accessible by public transport.
