To assist in our growth, development, and awareness of our training services which now include digital, instructor led, adaptive and many more, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Product to join our existing UK&I Training Academy team based in Milton Keynes.


This is a unique opening for a creative and innovative individual, someone who enjoys project management as well as, launching new products and scaling these within an organisation.


In this role, you will own and manage a large and varied portfolio of products within our evolving Training Academy.

You will ensure that our portfolio provides every BSI learner with access to a learning pathway which supports both their career and development objectives.


This is an incredibly varied but rewarding role, taking you through the full product lifecycle from initial market insight through to taking your products to market and then to overall performance measurement.

You'll have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders, building credible and impactful relationships which help deliver the best outcomes for our organisation, our client base and our learners.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designing a commercial portfolio for the UK Training Academy which includes L&D products and programmes
  • Representing the UK in Global Academy strategy discussions to influence and steer the global course development pipeline to continue to serve UK client needs
  • Shape the commercial framework for new product and partnership opportunities to support our growth and deliver client objectives
  • Lead on the delivery and reporting of our product performance, delivery of our strategy, sound learning performance outcomes and customer satisfaction
  • Set and agree performance criteria to measure the performance of our products and services in delivering our client objectives
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Proven experience in product development or similar
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments within a large matrix organisation
  • Strong project management skills with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders, clients and third parties
  • Experience in owning and managing a budget
  • The ability to work with a variety of learning platforms and technologies
