We are currently looking for an
Tyre Process Operative to join our friendly team based at Dunbar Cement Plant in Dunbar, East Lothian.


We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it's important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn't always necessary for success.


Role Responsibility:


In the role of
Tyre Process Operative you will be responsible for processing tyres to be used as a fuel in the cement works.


You will be expected to help deliver the site objectives; with continuous improvement of the operation including maintenance of the tyre chipper machine therefore mechanical engineering experience is essential.


  • CITB certificate on items of Mobile Plant or equivalent
  • IOSH certificate/Safety Passport
  • Ideally First Aid certified
  • Proven experience of Production Maintenance (ideal)
  • Indepth knowledge of practical mechanical operations
  • Knowledge of IMS and improvement
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and legislation
