Recrutiment Advisor
The Recruitment Advisor will support the HR Business Partner with delivering an expert and efficient recruitment service to all teams.
The post holder will deliver the full recruitment life cycle and collaborate with hiring managers and the wider HR Team on recruitment projects and proactively source high calibre individuals to join the organisation.
KEY WORK AREAS
- Be the main point of contact for all recruitment queries and provide recruitment advice to hiring managers, with full knowledge of policies and procedures relating to recruitment. Demonstrate basic employment law knowledge relating to recruitment.
- To maintain the recruitment pipeline, reserve lists and manage the progress of all vacancies and provide weekly updates and regular forecasts of future recruitment needs to the HRBP (HR Business Partner) and Senior Managers
- Participate in some interview panels, including initial screening & shortlisting
- Develop and deliver training relating to recruitment and selection
- To contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by bringing insights to identify opportunities
- Be the main recruitment contact for the Government Recruitment Service (GRS) for all vacancies
The Successful Applicant:
Recruitment Advisor
ESSENTIAL
- Experience of working in a recruitment team, either inhouse or agency
- Ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies at the same time
- Understands how to work effectively in a team to deliver results
- An understanding of using social media to lead recruitment campaigns
- Some experience of developing and/or delivering training on a 1:1 basis to managers or small groups
- Commitment to Continuous Professional DevelopmentDESIRABLE* CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience
- Experience in managing a small team
- Experienced in producing MI data and interpreting trends
- Working knowledge of the Vx System or Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience of job evaluation, ideally JEGs trained
