To cover for maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity for an in-house Interim Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team for a fixed period up to one year.

What we are looking for:


Joining the HR Team as the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for driving hiring activity across the Company and ensuring that Atcore is able to recruit and onboard the talent it needs to fulfil its business ambitions.


Key delivery areas:

  • Drive all recruitment activity through to successful conclusion;
  • Develop ATCORE's external profile through direct hiring activities;
  • Develop and further ATCORE's Employer Brand;

What you would do as our Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Work with hiring managers to understand requirements and produce & agree role specifications;
  • Ensure that all opportunities are also publicised internally and that existing employee movement is encouraged;
  • Work with external recruitment partners as necessary, where direct hiring is not feasible;
  • Manage employment offer negotiation and completion;
  • Implement onboarding process that ensures referencing and pre employment checks are quickly completed and that entry to the business is as smooth and productive as possible;
  • Support in aspects of onboarding, including communication with all internal stakeholders, catchups with new starters, and updating the onboarding page as needed;
  • Provide recruitment updates and align strategies with senior leadership.

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate competence and experience in the following:

  • 2+ years of experience within recruitment/HR environment with a desire to build and/or continue a career in the function;
  • A great communicator, capable of getting their message across in person, in writing or to a group;
  • Strong project management skills and a 'hands on' approach to delivery;
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously;
  • Determined and results focussed;
  • Previous experience with LinkedIn and/or job boards for direct hiring.

Desirable Skills / Experience:


  • IT sector work experience;
  • Degree or equivalent academic qualifications/experience.
