Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with Redthread to help them recruit for a new Head of Income Generation to join their team.

Redthread is a multi-award-winning charity with over 20 years' experience of delivering pioneering youth work in hospitals and other health settings.

They work across 13 hospitals in London, Nottinghamshire and Birmingham with 11-25 year olds who are affected by grooming, sexual and criminal exploitation, violence, emotional and physical harm, mental health issues, domestic violence and modern slavery.

They also support children and young people in the online space to reduce the impacts of violence, and with those experiencing a range of health conditions, who are vulnerable and in need.


Their model is pioneering, and they train NHS staff, so they are able to identify, and better support children and young people affected by violence in health settings.

They amplify the voices of children and young people and use evidence and insights from working with them to adapt and innovate their work, support service improvement, and influence regional and national government.


This role is offered on a permanent basis paying a salary of £60,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.


The post holder will be a member of the Leadership Team of Redthread, contributing to the strategic development, governance, and effective leadership of the organisation.

They will lead in sustaining and developing Rethread's income from statutory funders, trusts & foundations, and corporate and individual donors while setting a bold but realistic strategy for growing their fundraising income.

Their primary focus will be to maximise Redthread's funding for its strategic priorities - through developing new funding opportunities and revenue, sustaining existing income, building partnerships, and ensuring they have a long-term, strategic approach to developing their fundraising activities.
