A great opportunity to join a Global Automotive Tier 1 supplier as an Account Manager.You will be responsible for daily project management, commercial and delivery queries emanating from the customer and from within the global organisation.
The role willbe home based (or Hybrid) with regular travel to the office and customer sites in the UK and Europe.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the commercial, project management and delivery related activities for a Japanese Automotive OEM and to assist in growing this business
- Ensure the appropriate and timely progression of projects, with reporting and escalation as required to Sales management, to offices and manufacturing sites
- Input into related areas of the sales planning process
Skills helpful for the role:
- Degree in Engineering, Commercial or Business related discipline
- Experience of customer/supplier environment
- Preferably exposure to change management processes
- Knowledge of APQP (or similar) process beneficial
- Commercial awareness (e.g. sales planning, pricing, negotiation)
