Technical Production Manager - Venue. Events. Are you looking to lead on the technical aspects of large-scale, creative events?

THE COMPANY

Our client is a creative technical production company in London that delivers memorable and technically complex events for its clients.

Based out of one of the best-known large-scale venues in London, the types of projects they cover are vast and no two daysare ever the same Projects will include awards dinners, film premieres, conferences, and symposiums, launch events and music events for a broad range of external clients and brands.


THE ROLE

They are now seeking a Production Manager to maintain existing internal and external relationships and leading across technical delivery of a unique range of events.


Responsibilities will include:

  • To manage and motivate team members and freelancers
  • To plan for the provision of all AV needs at events
  • Meeting clients at enquiry stage, advising them on equipment needed, through to planning the delivery on the day and gatheringfeedback afterwards.
  • To ensure that all required AV equipment has been assessed prior to an event and that it is functioning correctly
  • Operational responsibility for the provision, security, stock control and maintenance of all audio visual equipment and services for Events Operations
  • To assist in the development of stock control systems and protocol
  • To ensure that all the required resources are ordered, received, available and assigned, as appropriate, for events they are allocated.
  • To liaise with suppliers, placing orders and ensuring that best prices are obtained
  • To attempt to upsell services to clients to facilitate greater income
