Description

Our client - a modern factory based in Elm, Wisbech, developing, preparing, and packing a wide range of quality prepared vegetable and stir fry products is looking for a Hygiene Coordinator with a strong hygiene experience level to work within the Hygiene budget with a focus on labor and use of cleaning chemicals.

Working shift: 5 on 3 off (from 00:

Pay rate: 14.30£/h + 1.20£/h shift bonus


The main purpose of the role is to support the management of the hygiene team. To deliver the required cleaning schedules to the required standard within the required cost.


Key responsibilities:


  • Review labor resources and complete any RTW.
  • Support any actions required from previous days' comments and requests from other departments.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available and in good safe working condition e.g. foamer/lances/hoses/chemicals / PPE.
  • Ensure that daily stocktakes and measurement of consumables are undertaken.
  • Ensure any paperwork required is completed to the required standard.
  • Ensure that the standard of cleaning is acceptable, working with the Technical Team to review ATP / hygiene indicator trends / visual inspections.
  • Ensure the training and development of the hygiene team to meet personal and team requirements in line with SOPs and safer systems of working.

General responsibilities:

  • To promote a high personal and professional working standard always and support the Hygiene team to work in the same way setting a clear, unquestioned level of conduct.
  • To liaise and work closely with all team members.
  • Make sure all colleagues and visitors follow the Company Health and Safety, Technical & Environmental policies
  • Ensure you and your team comply with all HR policies

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months

£15.50 per hour
