Description
To provide an efficient and effective administrative support Service within the Psychological services. To assist the Team administrator with administrative and secretarial duties. To provide administrative support to the Oaks psychological service team.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the provision of an administrative and secretarial service within the Oaks psychological services.

The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the team of professionals engaged in providing treatment to service users with Mental Health related problems.


  • To receive & respond to telephone enquiries exercising initiative in deciding whom the caller should be referred onto. Taking messages and recording both clerically and electronically.
  • To be responsible for an efficient & effective procedure for service user appointments using either the Rio system or updating appointment status within the agreed time frame.
  • To be responsible for the receipt and registration of all referrals into the service ensuring that registration is carried out immediately using the Rio, PAS system.
  • To ensure you maintain the agreed system is in place to monitor daily movement of all the team of staff.
  • To be responsible for the administration of client's clinical records within the centre ensuring accurate filing systems & timely retrieval of all documentation under the guidance of Admin Lead.
