Description
Responsibilities:
To work in a nursing or residential home.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' health and behavior
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Develop and implement care plans based on individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or assisted living facility
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of first aid techniques and protocols
- Experience in dementia care is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying cognitive abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
£11.44-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
