We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of GGP Operations to join our team based at Newbridge, Edinburgh.

In this role you will report directly to the General Manager, Aviagen Limited and will be a key member of the UK Executive Team.

Leading our GGP Operation, you will be responsible for 23 farm sites across Scotland, the North of England, and a high generation hatchery in the Rugby area.

In addition there are plans in place to further expand the farming base going forward which opens up further opportunity to define and lead our ever growing business.

This senior role is responsible for the development and implementation of the operational strategy and to ensure the efficient and bio-secure production of high quality stock to Grandparent customers across the European and TMEA regions.

A core part of the role is to ensure the GGP operations management teams are continuously developed, target driven and that the GGP operation meets all H&S, welfare and statutory requirements at the same time as ensuring the farming and hatchery base are maintained and developed to industry leading standards.

This role is responsible for all aspects of Aviagen Ltd GGP production strategy including management of annual operating budgets and capital budgets.
