    About The Role Design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure (audits, assessments) and protocols.
    Monitor and analyse security alerts, ensuring timely response to potential threats, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders during responses.

    Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks, perform threat modelling using frameworks such as STRIDE and Mitre ATT&CK to identify and address potential security threats.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (esp. SRE and Product) to ensure security is integrated into all stages of product development.
    Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
    Participate in compliance-related processes and activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    Guide and train employees on security best practices.
    About You Proven experience in a similar security-focused role, ideally within the tech or fintech industry.
    In-depth understanding of cloud-native security, particularly with AWS.


    Solid CS basis:
    algorithms, networking, big-O, etc.
    Ability to write software to automate, analyse, and demonstrate attacks, or suggest improvements to our engineering teams.
    Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.

    Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM).Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, Cyber Essentials+, ISO/IEC 27001Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced distributed environment.
