Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, Cell & Molecular Biology
Essential requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD/DPhil) degree in a biological discipline
- At least 2 years' fulltime laboratory experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot, nucleic acid/protein extraction, viral and/or nonviral transfection methods, primer design and quantitative PCR
- Ability to work independently and as part of a hardworking, motivated, and enthusiastic team.
- Proactive and flexible, with a proven ability to perform under pressure.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational and record keeping skills
- Advanced degree in Cell/Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cancer Biology or Immunology
- Experience with gene editing technologies such as CRISPR-Cas9, siRNA, TALEN, etc.
- Experience with RNA biology, including invitro transcription protocols
Salary:
£35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
