RF Design Engineer - Hertfordshire - £55,000 - £75,000 pa

A Global Electronics manufacturer are looking for an RF Design Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing next generation technology for the telecoms, satcoms & defence industry.

They offer a competitive salary and flexible working.


Responsibilities:


  • Design new high frequency RF transceiver products at board level
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, software & hardware engineers
  • Produce & maintain design & test documentation.
  • Carry out design reviews

Key Skills/Experience:


  • Degree (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • High Frequency RF Design (Ku and Ka band)
  • RF Systems Design (Link & power budgets, noise figure etc.)
  • RF Circuit Design (LNA/RF Amplifiers, oscillator/PLL's, power amplifiers etc.)
  • RF Test & measurement

Any mix of the following is nice to have's:

  • CAD design & simulation
  • Digital Circuits & microcontrollers
  • Microwave systems
  • Telecoms/Satcoms/Defence experience
