Description

Great Yarmouth Community Therapy Service provide specialist interventions for service users currently accessing secondary care via the Great Yarmouth and Waveney CMHT's.

They facilitate group programs from a range of community hubs.

The Great Yarmouth team also provide 1:1 interventions both in service users homes and in the community as well as Outreach work to support individuals to access the group program or move on to accessing community resources.


Great Yarmouth Community Therapy Service based at Northgate Hospital are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the Administration Team.

This role is a part time 30 hours per week, substantive position.


We can offer a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment that puts the needs and care of our service users first and provides a responsive administration service to the Great Yarmouth Community Therapy Service.


You will be encouraged to develop your skills and knowledge and we may ask you to spend time in other bases to facilitate this process.


You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems.

You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.

Examples of some of the tasks that may be required to be undertaken by this role include:

  • Writing correspondence to service users
  • Booking appointments
  • Use of Oracle
  • Support with ESR including MSS forms
  • Support with paperwork for supervision, sickness and return to work meetings.
  • Support with telephones for CMHT
  • General admin support to wider clinical team
  • Liasing with other teams.
  • Other appropriate admin duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the care group.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.
