- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, accruals, prepayments, and stock movement reconciliations.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary to support strategic business decision‑making.
- Oversee the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions, including weekly multi‑currency payment runs (GBP, EUR, USD) and customer credit limit management.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and assist with year‑end statutory accounts and audits.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance to achieve 90‑day goals ("Rocks") and refine internal financial controls.
- You thrive in a collaborative, small‑team environment and are happy to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Proven track record in preparing monthly management accounts (essential).
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex reconciliations) and a strong background in transactional accounting.
- A solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Head of Finance, where you will take full ownership of the monthly management accounts process while ensuring our day‑to‑day transactional functions remain robust and accurate.
