The Best Connection are looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer for our client in Gainsborough.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Salary:
Up to £14.00 per hour

Job Overview
The spray painter is responsible for performing various paint spray and material technician duties in a manufacturing environment.

As well as choosing the appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays, or prepare the desired one by mixing substances according to formula.

Key

Responsibilities:

To be familiar with using an Air assisted Airless system, diaphragm pump system, and working with 2pak paint system.
To include Prep and Finish coating in a commercial vehicle environment.
Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting
Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula
Ensure facility and spraypainting equipment are in good working condition

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiar with safely handling solvents and chemicals
Able to blend paint
Expertise in utilising various spraypainting tools and equipment such as pressure pots, spray guns, hoses, nozzles, gauges, cup guns, conveyor line, paint gun cleaner unit, protective spray painting equipment, paint shakers, and highlifts
Can identify and correct paint defects
Can adhere to work Instructions and clean paint equipment
