The role - Sales Director UK & Ireland

  • Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you will monitoring the performance of the senior sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying any training needs
  • Devising and implementing systems to keep staff motivated and maintain a high level of morale
  • Maintaining sales records and design reports to ensure that the data collected is being utilised effectively
  • Recruiting and training sales staff and ensuring that the department is appropriately resourced to deal with fluctuations in sales volumes

  • Maturity and experience to manage a team of national account level staff, involving the handling of senior account relationships experienced buyers/category managers
  • Intelligent thinker, strategic planner, focused and priority driven
  • Excellent personal negotiation/selling skills
  • Strong motivation to achieve, performance driven
  • Well organised and structured approach
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and selling skills promotes and sells persuasively
  • PC Literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good presentation skills,
  • Effective communicator both internal and external
