Equality and Inclusion Co-ordinator:
Salary:
Grade 5 (£24,285 - £27,929 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have knowledge of Equality and Inclusion and an interest to support the University's EDI Strategy? Do you have strong administrative skills to support the EDI team with their objectives?

The role is based in the University's Equality and Inclusion Unit (EIU), which is part of the People and Culture Directorate.
Joining a central team, you will provide advice, support and guidance to colleagues from across the University and beyond, to advance equality and inclusion projects and initiatives.
You will support colleagues in the EIU such as the Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the Equality and Inclusion Managers, and the Equality and Inclusion Officers to deliver their aims and objectives.
You will also produce plans, briefings and communication materials in support of the Unit's activities, which focus on supporting the delivery of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy and related initiatives.
You will be required to build effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues to ensure a joined up approach to all EDI work.
You will bring a good knowledge of and interest in EDI matters, ideally having some experience of working in an EDI environment.
You will be able to work with mínimal supervision and have the ability to reprioritise workloads to meet challenging and competing deadlines.
