Cyber Security Engineer / UP to £55k / Cambridge


TEC Partners are currently working with an excellent organisation based in Cambridgeshire who are looking to add a Cyber Security Engineer to their team.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining cybersecurity controls, to identify, protect, detect,detect, respond and recover to maintain the security posture of the business and clients.


You will be responsible for delivering IT security projects and activities, including working as part o the security team to create proposals and security solutions for clients.

You will use your IT knowledge to research security products and solutions.
Develop security strategies, deliver on IT security projects and providing technical assistance.

The following experience is essential for the role:

  • Past experience in a Cyber Security role
  • Experience of working in a security engineering role
  • A wide knowledge of information security principles, tools processes and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and solutions (Microsoft Server OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Storage Solutions, Networking)
  • Proven track record of delivering quality IT Solutions
