Essex:
Conrad Consulting is currently recruiting for an experienced Building Surveyor to work within our client's team based on the Essex, Suffolk boarder.
Award winning multi discipline practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced building surveyor to take on a range of building surveying duties on projects across Essex.

Local Authority, Commercial, Retail, Defence, Healthcare, Residential and Education.
Company Headcount:
Role of the Building Surveyor:
- Prepare specifications and documents to enable projects to be tendered and to gain accurate costs from contractors.
- Draw, design and specify varying sizes of projects.
- Assess tenders and make recommendations to clients.
- Chair and minute Project Progress Meetings.
- Deliver all administration of the construction contract.
- Control expenditure and ensure that schemes are completed within budget/on time.
- Negotiate and settle final accounts with Contractors.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the team leader.
- Meet annual and monthly fee targets as directed by the Office Partner.
Requirements of the Building Surveyor:
- Degree/master's in building surveying.
- Chartered or a willingness to progress to RICS chartered status.
- NBS specification writing.
- AUTOCAD drawing production.
- Preparation of MS Project Programmes.
- Project management experience.
- Have a minimum of 4 years Building Surveying experience.
