    Finance Business Partner to partner with the CIO for the Electricity Transmission and Strategic Infrastructure (ET & SI) business units for National Grid.


This is a true business partnering role, working closely with a wide variety of stakeholders in IT, the businesses, and finance teams, ensuring that performance is well understood, performance gaps are identified, and plans activated to remediate these and that opportunities to drive business value are identified and delivered.

Supporting and challenging the strategic and financial priorities, you'll support the decisions that deliver strong financial performance.

You'll engage with stakeholders internally and externally to understand best practice and to influence decision makers and will actively contribute to driving commercial and non-financial performance related decisions.

You will support the management of financial risks and the implementation & maintenance of controls. You will support the long-term business & financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to drive performance.


About You:

You're a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a commercial background and have financial analysis and investment appraisal experience. You're an experienced business partner and act as a trusted advisor, using strategic insight to deliver tangible performance improvements.

You're a strong influencer who can impact the decisions and financial performance of senior stakeholders and their teams and can adapt your style of presenting financial information to suit a range of stakeholders, both financial and non-financial.

You can make linkages between financial and operational performance clear - driving change to optimise both outcomes.

IT is a rapidly changing environment and so the ability to quickly understand these changes and exploit the opportunities they present is critical for the role.


What You'll Get:

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
