New role at the London office of this growing financial services business focusing on Financial Reporting and Financial Control and reporting to the Financial Controller.

Hybrid working.

Client Details
Leading capital markets and investment business operating on a global scale. This role will be based at their London office close to Bank station.

Description

Assisting the Finance Controller in month end close related activities.
Posting relevant accounting entries in relation to month end close.
Coordination with head office and responding to queries raised on month end closing related activities.
Performing expense analysis
Ensuring proper accounting of all operating expenses including system approval for vendor payments
Submission of data to Regional Finance Team.
Compiling audit schedules in relation to statutory audit.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and support the annual audit process.
Manage banking relations which includes coordinate for all bank related activities such as balance confirmation, signatory changes
Manage treasury investments
Assist in compiling MIS reports for management reporting.
Assist in tax compliance matters with required finance data

Profile
Strong Financial Control and Financial Reporting experience - preferably from within Financial Services or Big Four.

Part Qualified ACA, ACCA and CIMA and actively studying

Comfortable working in a broad and hands on role
