About the role


Camblesforth Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a caring, flexible, and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 2.

The role will be largely based within a classroom, supporting the Class Teacher, you may take children in small groups or a one to basis, ensuring they are getting the most out of their education.

Over lunch time you will support the children in the lunch hall and on the playground.

The hours for this role are 23 hours per week, these will be worked Monday - Friday, during the school term time.


The job requirements


We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children in a supportive capacity and has good verbal communication skills.

Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are all essential to this role.

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in the children's day, helping to support them in the classroom, breaking down activities into smaller step by step teaching to ensure they get the most out of their learning.

You will also guide the children to help them to develop friendships and relationships with other adults in the school and their peers.

You will be an experienced Teaching Assistant with knowledge and understanding with regards to child development and the curriculum.
