We are currently seeking a Fitter to be based at our Raisby Quarry, County Durham. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Repairing/fabricating various types of machinery & equipment
  • Complete safety checks on tools and equipment used
  • Complete remedial repairs around the quarry
  • Managing and organising equipment within the workshop
  • Being part of a team on larger projects
  • Assist other member of the maintenance team with general maintenance
  • Servicing machinery

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:


  • Health & Safety conscious
  • Selfmotivated
  • Able to work within a team
  • Organised
  • Qualified in welding
