The Company:

Due to company restructuring they are now seeking a Calibrations Engineer to join the team.
As a Calibrations Engineer you will either support or be responsible for the delivery of key project objectives to bring the system to market on time and to cost and quality requirements.
Key Skills Required:
- Technical feature calibration for advanced systems towards meeting performance and international legislative requirements
- Plan, execute and evaluate system performance measurements on bench, engine dynamometer, performance rigs, vehicles and in climate chamber.
- Project manage calibration builds towards internal testing and evaluation and customer release.
- Define system performance targets.
- Support the Team Leader as appropriate in dealing with customers and crossfunctional teams.
- Represent the calibration function as a key input into System Integration
- Characterise existing and new products.
- Compile technical reports and presentations for review with senior stakeholders.
- Support the software team in developing control strategies and developing efficient and effective designs solutions to meet system performance requirements.
- Support Hazard analysis, FMEA and fault tree analysis
- Develop calibration guidelines for internal and customer use.
- Develop rigorous and robust calibration and signoff procedures.
- Provide technical expertise during customer meetings.
- On or Offsite customer support as necessary
To be considered you must a minimum:
A degree level in Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive Engineering/Mathematics or similar
Experience with calibration processes and toolchains such as ATI Vision, ETAS Inca, AVL CRETA desirable
Depending on seniority, an in-depth appreciation or knowledge of, or a minimum 5 years 'calibration development experience in a powertrain development environment
Sound mechanical understanding of fuel injection equipment and fluid dynamics desirable
