MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The role of Machine Operator will be to ensure the safe and efficient running of our injection moulding machines to the required quality standards.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fill material hoppers with the correct material
Check quality of products and record these checks
Empty product catch boxes into transit cartons. Seal boxes and palletise
Identify nonconforming product to a team leader
Regrind sprues and rejects in the correct grinding machine
Work as part of a team and communicate any problems with your fellow shift workers at the end of your shift.
Identify opportunities for improvement and submit justification/reasons to Management
To carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be requested from time to time by the Company
To observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation

ASSISTS / CO-OPERATES

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE

Experience of a factory environment beneficial but not essential
All necessary training will be given, so a willingness to learn is important.
The role is quite physically demanding, so a reasonable level of fitness would be an advantage.
The ability to work in a methodical manner would also be an advantage.
