This role will play a vital role in ensuring that we can provide the highest quality care and support the growth of our business.


Job Description:


Job purpose
To ensure that our clients receive the appropriate support and a high-quality service.


To be introduced to new clients and provide their care, then facilitate a handover once a suitable Care Professional team is available.


To provide a variety of non-medical services that allow clients to remain in their own homes and to enhance the quality of their life.

To help clients and their families meet the challenges of ageing with dignity, pride, care and compassion.


When not providing care, to implement community engagement and marketing initiatives aligned to Home Instead's mission and values to strengthen the brand and grow our Care Professional team.


The role

Care Professional Responsibilities

  • Reflect the core values of the Home Instead franchise.
  • Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client's quality of life.
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditions.

Field Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Support care consultations, service reviews and completing client support plans.
  • Conduct staff supervisions and client QA's.
  • Create, update and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.
  • Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records on Home Instead software and People Planner.
  • Conduct client and Care Professional introductions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly.
  • Support and mentor Care Professionals.
  • Provide support to the Client Experience team.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and Care Professionals.
  • Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
  • Participate in oncall duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Community Engagement Responsibilities

  • Deliver promotional activities both face to face and virtually to increase awareness of Home Instead's client services and employment opportunities in the local community.
  • Support with a schedule of activity across social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Home Instead brand and raise awareness of Home Instead National Office marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives across the network of relationships that have been built in the local community.
  • Support the Client Experience and CARE Professional Experience teams in the preparation for regulatory inspections and Franchise audits.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful business operation and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
  • Participate in the paid oncall rota.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Participate in company sponsored training and social events including Care Professional meetings.
  • Participate in PEAQ engagement survey.
  • Document client information in Client and Life Journal.
  • May require you to run errands and provide incidental transportation for a client using your vehicle or a client's vehicle.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
  • Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role.
  • Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations.
  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health
