The Apprentice Customer Care Advisor:


As an Apprentice Customer Care Advisor, you will work closely with both the customer and your colleagues to ensure that all of the customers' needs are met, ensuring that we provide the highest level of after sales customer care and satisfaction at all times.

In order to provide the best possible customer experience, you will be taught all aspects of the customer journey.


What your day might look like:

  • Having a good understanding of the customer's needs to guide them towards the product/service that will best meet their needs.
  • Talking to and listening to customers to build a rapport and understand their service/repair requirements
  • Providing accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved and setting expectations accordingly
  • Scheduling work to meet customer requirements, taking into account workshop utilisation targets, job complexity and parts availability.
  • Encouraging the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions
  • Working with colleagues and other teams across the centre to provide a seamless quality of service to all customers (e.g. by informally observing and responding to the needs of customers who are not being attended to by other members of staff)
  • Ensuring opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist
  • Ensuring that each service or repair is followed up with a personal call to check the customer is happy with the service provided.

  • Ability to build good relationships with your team and other departments.
