Trainee Plastic Fabricator
Oldham Plastic Fabrications Ltd are a small bespoke plastic fabrication workshop with an experience work force. We are looking to expand our team by employing a trainee Plastic Fabricator.

We are looking for a person who is willing to learn, has drive, and is good with there hands, intelligent and a quick learner.

The applicant must be good at Math's and English. We would prefer a younger trainee either direct from school or college and has an interest in engineering. Attention to detail and good time keeping is a must. The sectors that we work in are HVAC, Chemical, Food processing, Micro Breweries, Water Treatment amongst many others.

We fabricate tanks, Vessels, Ducting, Attenuators, Guards, Process pipework and any bespoke fabrications that we may be asked to manufacture.

Trainee Plastic Fabricator.

The role involves learning every aspect of Plastic Fabrication this will include marking out patterns, reading and fabricating to engineering drawings.

You will use a variety of machines and power tools which will include circular saw, band saw, lathe, disc sander, pillar drills, hand drill, jigsaws, hand grinders, routers and selection of plastic forming and welding tools.

There will be heavy lifting involved as this is a manual role.

You must be a focused individual and a hard worker and as you progress you will be taught different things and eventually you will become a fully skilled Plastic Fabricator.

This is mainly workshop based but on occasion you would be required to work on site or away from home.

The pay will depend on the age and experience of the applicant


Qualifications:

The qualifications required for this would be a predicted A-C in Maths and English and you must be physically fit.

It would be an advantage if you could also drive.


Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
