Job Introduction
DAC Beachcroft is looking for a Claims Administrator to join our Professional and Commercial Risk Team in Bristol.

The Claims Administrator will work as part of a small team of experienced Administrators and will be responsible for the full claims administration process, assisting the Claim Handlers, setting up new cases, reporting and archiving.

The Claims Administrator will be someone who provides support for the team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the administrative department while demonstrating a high level of quality and accuracy at all times.

Providing assistance with all ad hoc administrative tasks where required to support the team / department. Being a team player and also able to work unsupervised and off your own initiative.

Main Responsibilities

The Claims Administration Team provides support and works closely with the Claims Handlers to ensure the smooth running of the department and excellent customer service is maintained.

Key responsibilities will include;

Case opening from a dedicated mail inbox
Checking of conflicts, maintain accurate management and client information on an ongoing basis
Conduct billing administration and post completion
Generate monthly reporting on cases to maintain the company standards
Previous experience in an administrative role in an office based environment is essential, preferably within professional services
IT literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, database systems and good keyboard skills are necessary
Enthusiastic, flexible, has a concern for accuracy and an eye for detail
Customer service oriented and ensures quality is key
Prioritise own workload
Be able to work to deadlines, and contribute and support others as part of a team effort
Actively seeking guidance and input from others where appropriate
Confident in oral and written communication
Experience of working in an administrative role within a legal environment would be advantageous but not essential
