Grade A NJC point 2 (FTE £20,441)

£4,042.03 Actual Salary per annum

Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime supervision team.

This is a part-time, term-time only position for 8.75 hours per week. The working hours are Mon-Fri (11.45am-1.30pm).

Rosslyn Park is a large primary school with nearly 700 children on roll and we pride ourselves on supporting each one of them and their families.

Our children feel valued and have a sense of belonging to the school and the local diverse community.

We believe strongly in developing the whole child and ensure that our knowledge-rich curriculum is supported by strong pastoral provision.

We are looking for a hardworking, team player to join our excellent lunchtime supervision team.

Main Responsibilities are:

Supervision, organisation and safeguarding of children within the playground and dining hall
Organise and develop interactive activities for the children during play
To ensure all children receive a school meal or have their own packed lunch
To oversee dining arrangements that promote an orderly and pleasant meal service for pupils
To ensure the dining hall is kept clean during meal service
To deal with behaviour incidents in the playground and dining hall
Exhibit a calm and reassuring manner
Be passionate about making a difference to every child
Value a team working approach and be keen to contribute and share your skills with colleagues
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Be punctual and reliable
