Accounts Assistant - The Role
You will have full accounts responsibilities and exposure to all finance functions, with duties including:

  • Completion of monthly accounts including accruals, prepayments
  • Monthly reporting into parent company
  • Management of simple balance sheet controls and improvements
  • Providing support to Operations Director in all duties to ensure the company maintains financial records in a correct manner and reports useful information to aid business performance and decision making
  • Purchase ledger duties including, posting, matching, allocation purchase invoices and supplier statements
  • Credit control incl. following up debtor queries with departmental managers and customers
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Reconciling the general ledger accounts
  • Maintaining the sales ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Managing department inbox

Accounts Assistant - The Person

  • Part qualified accountant or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and timemanagement skills; ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Good teamwork abilities plus initiative to work alone
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
