About the role


Due to ongoing expansion, our client is seeking an ambitious individual who possesses established experience in auditing and is looking to build and expand upon their skills within a structured and supportive firm.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in challenging situations, prioritises delivery, embraces accountability, maintaining a 'can-do' attitude, and is committed to enhancing their skills and competencies through self-improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage audit engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Preparation and management of accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Lead and mentor a team of audit professionals
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
  • Assist with business development and proposal writing
  • Reviewing financial statements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified
  • Minimum of 2 years of UK based External Audit experience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CaseWare is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
