Company:


  • A large established manufacturer of bathroom fittings require an experienced CAD/CAM CNC Setter Programmer.

Job:


  • This is a permanent position that starts immediately.

Duties:


  • You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating various CNC machines across the site and be expected to create CNC programmes for lathes, VMC's and 5axis machines through either offline CAM software or manually using the drawing, designdata.
  • Programming, setting and operating of production jobs for both small and large batches.
  • Accelerate the rollout of the CAM system to all machines on site and develop CAM programs and tooling to ensure that components can be moved easily between machines.
  • Training employees in agreed production and process methods and supporting technicians/apprentices as required.

Requirements:


  • Ability to operate measuring equipment, including a CMM. (MITATOYO Cryster-Apex)
  • Able to write offline programmes using CAM software. (Ideally SolidCAM)
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain, Mazatrol and Iso control systems preferred.
  • Time served/apprenticeship qualifications preferred.

Hours:


  • 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1pm on a Friday.
